The Learnin is looking for students who enjoy online research, discovering digital communities, and exploring creative ways to reach new audiences. As a Community Growth Intern, you will help identify relevant student groups, educational forums, and online communities across platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, and Discord.
You will help build a structured database of communities, explore appropriate promotional collaborations, and support the distribution of educational opportunities to relevant audiences.
Unlike the Campus Ambassador role, this position focuses on discovering and engaging with online communities beyond the intern’s own college or existing network.
What you'll do
Discover student communities, educational groups, and relevant online forums across Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, Discord, and other platforms.
Research publicly available group links, student pages, academic forums, and education-focused networks.
Build and maintain a database containing community names, platforms, relevant subjects, available contact details, and potential collaboration opportunities.
Reach out to community administrators, student page owners, and relevant group moderators to explore promotional collaborations.
Identify communities interested in science, research, AI, technology, careers, and other learning topics.
Prepare shareable promotional messages, captions, and digital materials that can be used by campus ambassadors and the wider team.
Track outreach activities, responses, and potential collaborations through the intern dashboard.
Suggest new ways to reach relevant student audiences while respecting platform rules and community preferences.
