How cancellations, refunds, postponements and related payment matters are handled for webinars, workshops, masterclasses, courses and memberships purchased on The LearnIN.

Effective date07 January 2026
Last updated12 September 2026

1Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs cancellations, refunds, postponements and related payment matters for services purchased through The LearnIN, a brand owned and operated by Kosmeron Intellect Private Limited, at www.thelearnin.com.

This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use. By registering for, purchasing or otherwise accessing a paid Service through The LearnIN, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy, subject always to any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

2Applicability

This Policy applies to paid:

  • Webinars
  • Workshops
  • Masterclasses
  • Courses
  • Memberships
  • Other paid Services where separate refund terms have not been expressly provided

Where a particular Service has additional or different refund terms clearly disclosed at the time of purchase, those specific terms shall apply to the extent of any inconsistency with this Policy.

3Cancellation by User — Webinars, Workshops and Masterclasses

A user may request cancellation of a registration for a paid webinar, workshop or masterclass subject to the following conditions.

3.1 Initial 24-hour period

A registration cannot be cancelled during the first 24 hours after the registration is completed. The cancellation option becomes available only after this initial period has expired.

3.2 48-hour cancellation cut-off

After the initial 24-hour period has expired, a user may cancel the registration only where the cancellation request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled date and time of the relevant webinar, workshop or masterclass.

Hours 0–24
Cancellation locked, regardless of how far away the event is.
After 24h, ≥ 48h before event
Cancellation request can be submitted and is eligible for a refund.
< 48h before event
Cancellation window has closed; the registration ordinarily stands.

Example: if an event is scheduled for Saturday at 6:00 PM, the cancellation request must be submitted no later than Thursday at 6:00 PM — provided the initial 24-hour period has also expired.

3.3 Ineligible cancellations

A cancellation request made:

  • Within the first 24 hours after registration
  • Less than 48 hours before the scheduled event
  • After the event has commenced
  • After the user has participated in the event

shall ordinarily not qualify for a refund. Nothing in this section limits any refund, consumer or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4Refunds for Eligible User Cancellations

Where a cancellation is eligible for a refund under this Policy, the user may choose between the following refund methods, where the relevant option is available.

A. Original payment source

Refunded to the original payment source used for the transaction.

7–10 working days

B. The LearnIN Wallet

Credited as wallet balance, where the wallet option is available to your account.

Within 24 hours

Once initiated by The LearnIN, amounts refunded to the original payment source are generally expected to be credited within 7–10 working days, subject to the processing timelines of the relevant bank, card issuer, payment service provider or financial institution. The LearnIN shall not be responsible for delays attributable solely to the relevant payment provider or financial institution after the refund has been successfully initiated.

Wallet credits may be subject to applicable wallet terms, including restrictions concerning withdrawal, transfer or expiry, where such terms are clearly disclosed.

5Cancellation by The LearnIN

If The LearnIN cancels a webinar, workshop or masterclass for any reason, users who have paid for the cancelled Learning Experience will be eligible for a refund of the amount paid for that Learning Experience, subject to applicable law.

The refund may be provided through:

  • The original payment source
  • The LearnIN Wallet, where the user elects to receive it that way

Refunds to the original payment source will ordinarily be credited within 7–10 working days, subject to applicable banking and payment-provider timelines. Wallet refunds will ordinarily be credited within 24 hours after processing.

6Postponement or Rescheduling

If a webinar, workshop or masterclass is postponed or rescheduled to another date, the user's existing registration will ordinarily remain valid for the rescheduled date. Postponement or rescheduling does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement.

The user may continue to attend the Learning Experience on the rescheduled date without having to register again, subject to any revised event terms communicated by The LearnIN. Where a rescheduling circumstance otherwise gives rise to a refund right under applicable law or specific Service terms, such right shall remain unaffected.

7Courses

All course purchases are non-refundable once the purchase has been completed.

This includes, without limitation, courses purchased:

  • At the regular listed price
  • During a sale
  • Using a discount code or promotional offer
  • Using a coupon, credit or other promotional benefit
  • As part of a limited-time or special pricing campaign
  • As part of a bundle or other promotional package

Courses purchased during any sale, discount or promotional campaign are strictly not eligible for cancellation or refund. Accordingly, a user will ordinarily not be entitled to a refund merely because they:

  • Change their mind
  • Decide not to continue
  • Do not use or access the course
  • Fail to complete the course
  • Do not find the course suitable for their individual requirements
  • Are otherwise unable or unwilling to continue using the course

Any refund, replacement or other remedy that is mandatorily required under applicable law shall remain unaffected.

8Memberships and Other Services

Memberships and other paid Services may be subject to specific cancellation, renewal and refund terms disclosed at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise expressly stated, cancellation of a recurring Membership will generally prevent or discontinue future renewals but will not automatically entitle the user to a refund for the already-paid membership period.

Where specific Membership Terms apply, those terms shall govern the relevant cancellation and refund provisions.

9Promotions, Sales, Discounts and Coupons

Promotional pricing, sales, discounts, coupons, credits, special offers and limited-time pricing are offered subject to the specific conditions communicated with the relevant offer. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by The LearnIN, any course purchased under a sale, discount, promotional offer, coupon, credit, bundle or other reduced-price arrangement is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled after purchase.

Promotional benefits:

  • Have no independent cash value unless expressly stated
  • Are not transferable
  • Cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot ordinarily be combined with other offers
  • May be subject to specific eligibility, validity and usage conditions

The LearnIN reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw promotional offers prospectively. Where a refund is otherwise legally required for a transaction involving a promotional offer, the refundable amount shall be determined in accordance with applicable law and the specific terms of the relevant transaction.

10Refund Processing Conditions

Before processing a refund, The LearnIN may reasonably verify:

  • The relevant transaction
  • The identity of the purchaser
  • Payment status
  • Cancellation eligibility
  • Registration details
  • Applicable promotional or discount conditions
  • Whether the transaction has already been refunded
  • Whether the transaction is subject to a payment dispute or chargeback

Refunds will ordinarily be made only to the original purchaser and, where applicable, to The LearnIN Wallet associated with the relevant account. The LearnIN may decline duplicate, fraudulent, manipulated or otherwise invalid refund requests.

11Taxes, Fees and Payment Processing

Where a refund is issued, the refundable amount will be determined in accordance with the applicable transaction terms and applicable law. Third-party payment processing charges, taxes or other amounts may be treated in accordance with applicable law and the terms under which the relevant transaction was processed. Where required by law, applicable taxes may be adjusted, retained or refunded appropriately.

12Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe that a payment, cancellation or refund has been incorrectly handled, you should first contact payments@thelearnin.com. We may investigate the transaction and request relevant information before processing or confirming a refund.

Where reasonably necessary, we may provide relevant transaction, registration, attendance, access or payment records to payment processors, banks or financial institutions for purposes of resolving payment disputes or investigating suspected fraud. Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising a legitimate statutory or consumer right.

Fraudulent or abusive refund requests or chargebacks may result in account restrictions or termination, subject to applicable law.

13Refund Requests

For refund and payment-related requests, contact Payments & Refunds at payments@thelearnin.com. A refund request should contain sufficient transaction or registration information to enable The LearnIN to identify the relevant transaction and determine eligibility.

Where a refund is approved, The LearnIN will initiate the refund within a reasonable period, subject to applicable verification requirements and payment-processing procedures. The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the user's account will depend upon the selected refund method and the relevant bank, payment processor or financial institution.

14No Refund for Non-Use

Except where otherwise expressly provided under this Policy, applicable Service terms or mandatory law, failure to access, attend, use or complete a purchased Service does not by itself create a right to a refund. This includes situations where a user:

  • Does not attend a registered webinar, workshop or masterclass
  • Misses a scheduled session
  • Fails to access purchased Content
  • Does not complete a course
  • Does not use an active Membership
  • Is unable or unwilling to use a Service after purchase

15Abuse and Fraud

The LearnIN reserves the right to investigate refund requests where there are reasonable grounds to suspect:

  • Fraud
  • Misuse of promotional offers
  • Manipulation of transactions
  • Repeated abusive refund activity
  • Unauthorised payment activity
  • False or misleading claims
  • Other conduct intended to improperly obtain a refund or financial benefit

Where permitted by law, we may suspend or restrict the relevant account or take other appropriate action while an investigation is conducted.

16Changes to This Policy

We may amend this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, payment processes, business operations, technology or applicable law. The updated Policy will be published on www.thelearnin.com with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes will generally apply prospectively and will not affect rights that have already accrued under applicable law or an already completed transaction, unless otherwise legally permitted.

17No Exclusion of Mandatory Rights

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any consumer, statutory, contractual or other legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Where applicable law provides a greater refund or cancellation right than this Policy, the applicable legal requirement shall prevail.

18Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory statutory rights. Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes relating to this Policy.
