These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) establish the standards of conduct expected from everyone participating in communities operated, managed, hosted or facilitated by The LearnIN, a brand owned and operated by Kosmeron Intellect Private Limited, at www.thelearnin.com.
These Guidelines apply to interactions taking place through The LearnIN's own Platform as well as communities, channels and groups operated or administered by The LearnIN on third-party platforms, including WhatsApp communities, channels and groups.
They are intended to maintain a professional, respectful, safe and intellectually constructive environment for learners, Experts, instructors, researchers, professionals, partners and other members of the The LearnIN community.
These Guidelines form part of the Terms of Use. Depending on the nature of the conduct, other policies including the Content Integrity Policy, IP Policy, Privacy Policy and Expert Terms may also apply.
2Where These Guidelines Apply
These Guidelines apply to community participation through or in connection with The LearnIN, including:
- The LearnIN website and Platform
- Website comments and discussions
- Community forums
- Questions and answers
- Reviews and ratings
- Discussions associated with Learning Experiences
- Webinar, workshop and masterclass discussions
- The LearnIN WhatsApp Community
- The LearnIN WhatsApp Channels
- The LearnIN WhatsApp Groups
- Other official WhatsApp spaces operated or administered by The LearnIN
- Other official community spaces, groups or channels introduced by The LearnIN in the future
Where a third-party platform has its own rules, those rules also apply. For example, participation in a WhatsApp community remains subject to WhatsApp's applicable terms, policies and technical controls.
3Our Community Standard
The LearnIN is intended to be a place for learning, discovery, discussion and exchange of ideas. We encourage members to:
- Ask meaningful questions
- Share knowledge and useful resources
- Challenge ideas constructively
- Engage with different perspectives
- Acknowledge uncertainty
- Support evidence-based discussion
- Respect Experts, instructors and fellow learners
- Contribute information that is useful to the wider community
Disagreement is permitted and, where constructive, encouraged. Disagreement with an idea, theory, research finding or opinion is not by itself a violation of these Guidelines. The manner in which disagreement is expressed matters.
4Respectful and Professional Conduct
Members must communicate in a manner that is reasonably respectful and appropriate for a professional learning environment. You must not engage in:
- Personal attacks
- Harassment
- Threats or intimidation
- Bullying
- Stalking
- Targeted humiliation
- Abusive or degrading behaviour
- Deliberate provocation intended to disrupt discussion
- Repeated unwanted contact
- Behaviour intended to drive another member away from the community
Criticism should generally be directed at the idea, argument, methodology, evidence or Content, rather than attacking the individual presenting it.
5Harassment, Hate and Discriminatory Conduct
The LearnIN does not permit content or conduct that targets individuals or groups with harassment, hateful abuse or discriminatory hostility. This includes abusive conduct based on characteristics protected under applicable law. You must not use community spaces to:
- Promote hatred or violence against individuals or groups
- Encourage discrimination or exclusion
- Make demeaning or threatening statements directed at a protected group
- Repeatedly target an individual with abusive conduct
- Encourage others to harass another person
Good-faith academic, scientific, historical or social discussion is not prohibited merely because a topic is sensitive or controversial, provided it is conducted responsibly and does not cross into prohibited abuse or unlawful conduct.
6Threats and Safety
Threats of violence, credible threats of harm, intimidation or instructions intended to facilitate serious harm are prohibited. This includes threats directed at:
- Community members
- Experts
- Instructors
- Employees
- Partners
- Institutions
- Other individuals
Where reasonably necessary, The LearnIN may restrict access, preserve relevant information and take appropriate action to protect users or others, including making disclosures where required or permitted by law.
7Spam and Unsolicited Promotion
Community spaces are not intended to function as unrestricted advertising channels. You must not use The LearnIN communities to:
- Repeatedly post unsolicited promotional material
- Mass-promote products or services
- Distribute referral or affiliate links without authorisation
- Solicit members for unrelated businesses
- Repeatedly post the same material
- Send unsolicited bulk messages
- Manipulate discussions for commercial promotion
Legitimate professional, educational or research-related resources may be shared where relevant to the discussion and not used primarily for unsolicited promotion. The LearnIN may permit specific promotional or partner activities at its discretion.
8Self-Promotion
Reasonable professional self-promotion may be permitted where it is:
- Relevant to the discussion
- Not misleading
- Not excessive
- Not disruptive
- Not contrary to a specific community rule
Examples may include sharing a relevant publication, research project, professional resource or educational initiative. Repeated promotional posting, unsolicited solicitation or using the community primarily as an advertising channel may be restricted.
9Misinformation and Misleading Information
Members should make reasonable efforts not to knowingly distribute false or materially misleading information. You must not deliberately:
- Fabricate facts
- Misrepresent sources
- Manipulate evidence
- Present fabricated research
- Falsely claim professional or academic credentials
- Misrepresent another person's work
- Knowingly distribute materially false information as fact
Because The LearnIN covers scientific and research-related subjects, members are encouraged to distinguish between established findings, emerging evidence, hypotheses, personal opinions, interpretations and speculation.
A good-faith mistake is not automatically a violation. Members may be asked to correct materially misleading information where appropriate.
10Academic and Research Integrity
The LearnIN encourages responsible academic and scientific discussion. You must not use community spaces to facilitate:
- Plagiarism
- Fabrication of research or data
- Falsification of results
- Fraudulent academic credentials
- Impersonation

- Submission of another person's work as your own
- Manipulation of academic records
- Other serious academic misconduct
The Content Integrity Policy provides additional standards concerning academic, scientific and educational integrity.

- Misinformation
- Unlawful conduct
- Spam

- Targeted abuse
The LearnIN does not endorse every opinion expressed by community members.
21WhatsApp Communities, Channels and Groups
The LearnIN may operate different types of WhatsApp spaces for different purposes.
WhatsApp Channel
Primarily used for announcements, updates, Learning Experiences, Content and other information from The LearnIN. Don't assume every message reflects an individual Expert's or third party's independent opinion unless expressly stated.
WhatsApp Community
May bring together multiple The LearnIN groups or discussion spaces. Different groups may have additional rules based on their purpose.
WhatsApp Groups
Used for discussion, event-specific interaction, learner communities or Expert-led discussions. Members must follow both these Guidelines and any group-specific instructions from administrators.
The LearnIN may add, remove, restrict, archive or restructure official WhatsApp communities and groups where reasonably necessary.
22WhatsApp-Specific Privacy Considerations
WhatsApp is a third-party platform and operates independently of The LearnIN. Depending on the type of WhatsApp space and its configuration, information such as your:
- WhatsApp name
- Profile information
- Profile photograph
- Messages
- Reactions
- Participation
- Phone number, where visible under WhatsApp's applicable functionality
may be visible to other participants. You should review WhatsApp's own privacy settings, terms and policies before joining an official The LearnIN WhatsApp community, channel or group.
Do not assume that information shared in a group is private merely because the group is operated by The LearnIN. The LearnIN cannot guarantee the conduct, screenshots, copying, forwarding or independent use of information by other WhatsApp participants.
23Expert and Administrator Conduct
Experts, instructors, moderators and administrators participating in The LearnIN communities are also expected to comply with these Guidelines. Additional obligations may apply under the Expert Terms or other contractual arrangements.
Being an Expert, moderator or administrator does not give a person permission to:
- Harass members
- Misuse personal information
- Make unauthorised commitments on behalf of The LearnIN
- Exploit community access
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct
24Moderation and Enforcement
The LearnIN may monitor, moderate, restrict, remove or otherwise manage community Content and participation to the extent reasonably necessary to enforce these Guidelines, protect users, maintain community quality, prevent abuse, protect intellectual property, address security concerns, and comply with applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, action may include:
Requesting a correction or modification
Removing Content or restricting its visibility
Deleting or closing a discussion
Issuing a warning
Temporarily restricting participation
Removing a user from a group or community
Suspending an account
Terminating access to The LearnIN
Taking other appropriate action
The seriousness and circumstances of the conduct will be considered when determining the appropriate response.
25Immediate Action
The LearnIN may take immediate action without prior warning where reasonably necessary to address:
- Threats of harm
- Serious harassment
- Fraud
- Account compromise
- Malicious activity
- Unlawful conduct
- Serious privacy violations
- Significant intellectual property infringement
- Attempts to compromise Platform security
- Conduct creating a significant risk to users or the Platform
Where practical and appropriate, we may provide an explanation or opportunity to appeal or clarify the relevant action.
26Reporting a Violation
If you believe that content or conduct violates these Guidelines, you may report it to support@thelearnin.com. A useful report should, where possible, include:
- The relevant username or identifier
- Description of the conduct
- Relevant link, screenshot or message
- Approximate date and time
- Explanation of why you believe it violates the Guidelines
Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in a report. Reports may be reviewed based on the available information and the seriousness of the issue.
27False or Abusive Reports
Reports should be made in good faith. You must not knowingly submit false reports for the purpose of:
- Harassing another user
- Suppressing legitimate criticism
- Manipulating discussions
- Causing an account to be restricted
- Obtaining an improper advantage
Repeated malicious or abusive reporting may itself result in action under these Guidelines.
28Appeals and Review
Where a significant restriction or termination has been imposed, you may contact support@thelearnin.com with relevant information explaining why you believe the action should be reconsidered.
The LearnIN may review the matter based on available information and applicable policies. Nothing in this section guarantees reinstatement or creates a contractual entitlement to a particular moderation outcome.
29No Guarantee of Community Availability
Community features may be changed, suspended, restricted or discontinued at any time for operational, technical, security, legal or other legitimate reasons. The LearnIN does not guarantee that every community, group, channel, discussion or historical message will remain available indefinitely.
30Third-Party Platform Rules
Where The LearnIN uses a third-party platform such as WhatsApp, participation is also subject to the applicable terms, policies and technical rules of that third-party platform. If a conflict arises between these Guidelines and a mandatory rule of the third-party platform, the applicable third-party platform requirement may govern the relevant technical or platform-specific matter.
The LearnIN is not responsible for independent actions, outages, privacy practices or functionality of third-party platforms.
31Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our communities, new communication channels, changes in technology, changes in applicable law, emerging safety or security risks, and changes in community practices.
The updated Guidelines will be published on www.thelearnin.com with a revised “Last Updated” date.
32Relationship With Other Policies
These Guidelines should be read together with the applicable The LearnIN policies, including:
- Terms of Use
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy
- IP Policy
- Content Integrity Policy
- Expert Terms
- Membership Terms, where applicable
- Any applicable event-specific rules
A violation may therefore constitute a violation of more than one applicable policy.
33No Waiver of Legal Rights
Nothing in these Guidelines is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. The LearnIN may take action to maintain community standards while respecting applicable law and legally protected rights.
